All the stone is on!!

More Stone . . .

Most all of the piers on the porch are finished and the corner posts have the top stone slab put on.

Here are some more pictures of the stone around the foundation and our front steps.  I love how they put the design in the front of the steps.

All the siding is on now and we are going to put stone on the parts that do not have siding in this picture.

The doors will eventually have black hinges and handles on it to make it look like the old style carriage doors.

Siding!!!

Here are a few pics of the siding going on!

 We are putting three diffferent types of siding on the house.  On the porches we are putting a board and batton siding.  On the area above the garage, is siding that looks like shakes.  And on the rest of the house we are putting a regualar dutch lap siding.

I know I haven't posted anything for a while but there isn't much change going on.  Basically electrical, plumming and duct work.  As soon as changes start up again, I'll be posting pictures.  Supposedly, the siding is going on next week!!  Now that will definately make a difference.

Most of the windows are in and they're starting on the shingles.

The porch is complete!!!  And the little porch off the master bedroom is finished.

This is standing in the doorway of the master bedroom.  The large opening in the middle will be sliding doors that open onto my own private porch!!  The bathroom and closets are throught the doorway on the left.

This first view is standing where the kitchen will be looking into the eating area.  Mason and I had our first lunch (on our blanket in the floor)  Chicken nuggets and a bacon burger! 

This next picture is the view from the kitchen/eating area into the living room.  There will be a penisula/bar on the right side of the doorway in the kitchen.

This next picture is standing in the eating area of the kitchen looking back towards the kitchen.  the doorways at the back . . . on the left leads to the dining room and the doorway on the right is the laudry room.  I know the studs look crooked but that sometimes happens when you try to create a pano and the camera automatically stitches the pictures together.

  This next picture is taken from the living room looking back towards the kitchen.  The far right is the kitchen area.  The large doorway in the middle leads to the foyer and the one on the left leads to the office and master bedroom.
